This will be the second time that the teams have met this season, with ‘Loo teaching Widnes an early lesson in the Lancashire Cup on 5th September, winning by a margin of 43pts - 21.

Since then, the host side have continued in a rich vein of form, winning all three matches, against Manchester (Lancashire Cup), and Wilmslow and Birkenhead Park in R2NW.

Widnes, meanwhile, after beating Kirkby Lonsdale in their league opener, will be hoping to get straight back on to the horse once again, following last weekend’s narrow bonus point defeat at Manchester.

In the other senior fixtures; the Seconds are at home to Kendal, whilst the Thirds host Prenton.
Games kick off at 3.00pm.
