WRU IV entertained Eli Lilly with their No.1 and No. 3 players missing and would probably be a little disappointed in both the result and performance. Paul and Jimmy B stepped into the breach and performed creditably taking wins each from very accomplished opponents.

WRU III are probably the most disappointed club team, for some inexplicable reason their performance did not reach the usual high standards they set themselves. But it also has to be remembered Mal and Jeff are coming back from lengthy lay-offs. It is only a matter of time until they get back to their old form. Their skills will bear fruit as the season progresses.
