17s V Sale FC (League trophy semi final)

It’s been months since the last game for the 17s, with the last home game way back in January so this was a big one to start a potential double cup run.

Sale FC have always given us good games, ever since U8s and today was no exception, 17-7 at the end of the first half shows how even the two sides are however after the break the Wids scored within moments of the game restarting and no disrespect to Sale FC, they couldn’t live with the pace of the game and the Wids went onto to win 48-14.

Next week we travel to a Wigan to play Aldwinians in the Lancashire trophy final, kick off 1100.

After that we will play the league cup final with opponents and kick off to be confirmed but at Lymm.
