U17s V Rochdale (Lancs trophy semi final)

35-20 is a fantastic score line against a very good Rochdale side, one who nilled us at the start of the season but when it counted the Wids lads stuck to our core values of Working hard, Imaginative play, Discipline as a team and individuals and Supporting each other as team mates and then all on the pitch.

Rochdale scored first but this galvanised the wids and they took the lead, which they kept and despite Rochdale best efforts just couldn’t get through a good Wids defence.

Got to say, Rochdale players and coaches showed class after the game and we wish them well for the rest of the season.
