U17s V Aldwinians (R1 Lancs cup)

And this time in the lancs cup, after being in the final last year the lads have had a taste of cup action and it’s good to start this season with a strong win, over previously unbeaten Aldwinians.

First half the Wids dominated from the off the and kept the scoreboard ticking with try after try, a bit of complacency came in towards the end of the first half and this continued in to the second, whilst which gave Aldwinians field position but spirited defence kept the hosts at two scored only and Wids added a few on to their own to finish the game as winners and moving into the next round.
