Head coach Dan Newall was full of praise for his side after the victory.
“I thought it was a fantastic performance today a real team performance. 1 to 20 everyone played their part today and played well. Tyldesley were unbeaten coming into today and were a really young hungry side so to put in that level of performance and come away with a victory and a score line like that shows how well we played.
The bench was huge for us today having real quality lads to bring on and freshen things up really gave us a boost with each substitution we made.
We still have areas we need to work on particular with our discipline we got frustrated at times again today. However, I saw some real signs of us improving in that area as well and the penalty count was down. I think if we just have a little bit more patience it will help us a lot in remaining calm and sticking to our game plan.”
The 2s are on their travels next week when they face Trafford MV.
