With the two teams currently occupying positions five and six in the table and separated by just a point, this game is just too close to call.
Douglas were in terrific form during the opening rounds of the 2025/26 season, and deservedly moved to the top of the table after beating Widnes 29 - 12 at Port-E-Chee at the end of November. They were also comfortable victors in the previous contest at Heath Road in the final round of fixtures in December 2024.
With the league title and promotion looking as if it is heading towards North Yorkshire, the play-off places continue to remain up for grabs, and a win here for either side on Saturday will go a long way to achieving that goal with just two more league matches left after this.
