He will be joined by former West Park and Liverpool St Helens player Dave Westhead as Head Coach, whilst current first team winger Paul O’Connor, is also coming on board as fitness/backs coach.

Dave brings with him a wealth of rugby playing and coaching experience, having spent two years with National League One side Sedgley Park. He also achieved promotion back to level five with Tyldesley, whom he also took to Twickenham in the final of the National Vase. He is currently Head coach at Liverpool University, where his impact has been immediate. He is hugely respected and liked in equal measure by all the players, and the high standard of coaching he offers has improved the team no end.

The trio are likely to face a busy summer, planning their schedule in readiness for the start of the 2014/15 season, which promises to be the toughest so far in North One West. This time, there is also the added extra pressure on all of the teams to finish in the top half of the table, which is likely to see those clubs move up to level 5 following an on-going review of the leagues by the RFU.

The first date in the diary for the players will be the start of pre-season training on Thursday, 26th June, starting at 7.00pm.
