
The Club raised £430 through the sale of old kit which it then donated to Halton Learning Foundation.
The foundation was set up by independent Councillor Kevan Wainwright when he was Mayor of the Borough in 2024-25.
Its aim is to provide opportunities to young people who are 'left behind' when it comes to further education or vocational training.
During his year in office, he and his wife Andrea raised £69,050 for the Charity, which is administered by the Community Forum for Lancashire and Merseyside.
Cllr Wainwright added "We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to the club and its President Derek Dyer for their kind donation."
The charity offers bursary grants are available to help 18-25 year old to realise their potential and not be held back by financial difficulties.
Cllr Wainwright said "We believe that providing this help, that one or more of our young people could become a specialist in their field of learning and change the world for the better."
