Dewi passed away on 17th May at Warrington Hospital, aged 74 years.

Dewi was a regular 3rd team player in the 1970s and 80s. He also played for the First and Second teams, collecting his heritage number of 214.

He had been ill for some time but was able to come to the club for a pre-match buffet last March. He was impressed to see the development of the club since his playing days and was able to reminisce with lots of his old team-mates. Dewi’s funeral will take place on Friday 20th June at Walton Lea, Warrington at 15:20, followed by a chance to reflect on Dewi's life at the Ring o Bells, Daresbury.
