It was a fantastic day for rugby today at Heath Road, where the Under 16's entertained Ormskirk in what was a competitive game despite the scoreline.

The team spirit and enthusiasm from both teams was a credit to the players.

Widnes had some star performers and scored some great tries but Ormskirk never gave in and kept the Wids honest throughout.

Fantastic rugby day with the team ready to build on this performance in future games.
